Paladin® DesignBase Solutions Modules for Power Flow Analysis |
 |
| Modules include:
- AC Multi Motor Starting Power Flow
- AC Advanced Power Flow – 3phase, 1phase
- AC/DC Power Flow
- DC Power Flow
- AC Unbalanced Power Flow – 3phase
- AC Voltage Profile
- AC Active Optimal Power Flow
- AC Reactive Optimal Power Flow
The Paladin® DesignBase Solutions Module library includes solutions that enable users to conduct balanced three-phase and single phase load flow studies on almost any network configuration imaginable.
This object-oriented load flow program uses sparsity techniques for the load flow solution; it applies bus admittance matrix plus two iterative methods (fast decoupled, or Newton-Raphson) to obtain the desired results at all buses in the network. Key features include:
- Object-oriented technology
- Advanced automatic voltage control
- Programs work off a common drawing
- Fully verified and validated
- 10CFR50 Appendix B compliant
- 3- and 1-phase load flow (both fast decoupled, and Newton-Raphson methods)
- Per unit or Actual input choices
- Loop, radial, and multi-islanding networks
- Automatic error checking
- Auto coloring of one-line based on results
- Text, color, and graphical reporting of results
- Built-in debugging tools, graphical browser, transformer sizing, and automatic input data conversion
- Back annotation of results with arrows
- No voltage, frequency, or impedance limits
- Multi-scenerio analysis
- User-defined violation flagging and demand factors
- Normal, capacitor, and capacitor-reactor motor starting
- Multi-motor starting (both fast decoupled, and Newton-Raphson methods)
- Active and Reactive Optimal Power Flow
- N and N-1 security AOPF
- Security-constrained active load flow and economic dispatch
- Adjusts settings to keep voltage limits
- Load forecasting
- Monthly and yearly forecast; no limit on the number of years forecasted
- Multi-regression with horizon estimate
- Stochastic time series technique
